Post-it notes are present in any office, and sometimes their sticky yellow character can cover multiple flip-charts, office-desks or even entire walls. Their physical presence can become terrifying and overwhelming. But what if you can get rid of them and replace them with virtual sticky notes that can be easily created and managed. With PNotes you can fulfill your wish by keeping your tasks, daily diary and other to-dos on schedule and visible anywhere on your desktop.

Pnotes is an open-source application with no main window interface but with a lot to offer in terms of functionality. With a simple left double-click on it, a post-it note will be instantly created. On each post-it you can write any to-do action that you need to perform in the near future. You can create an unlimited number of notes that may be docked on the left, right, up or down side of your screen. You can set their priority and even schedule them to notify you of their content based on a daily, weekly or monthly routine. In this way your notes will appear only when you need them.

Besides the docking option, you can also save you notes in groups that can be afterward displayed in background or on top of every window application. You can also change the colors of your sticky notes, their size, the transparency or the fonts for each new task or daily diary. In case you want to be more secure you can protect each note by a password and even encrypt them. You can also synchronize your posts and share to others through the ftp protocol.

In case your notes number is increasing you can backup them for future use or manage them with the help of a control panel which stands out to be very useful. This control panel will give you all the necessary tools to create, delete, set priority, backup or run a schedule.

Pnotes can become an extremely powerful tool that can compete easily with any other task manager program if it would have featured an assign tool for each note.
